A minor eldritch entity created by an eldritch embodiment of shadows incarnate.
A shapeshifter with cat-like mannerisms and no interest in conflict. Tends to stay around the height of an average medium-sized horse.
Boots's sister, Mono's friend, Non's daughter.
She/It/Shift pronouns.
Willow
I first drew Willow as a doodle at the start of March 2025! The only things about her character that I thought up immediately were that she's a shapeshifter, her demeanor can switch between regal and somewhat unhinged, and that she's as smart and conscious as a person!
The next day, I drew it a skeletal friend who I've since named Mono! January 2026, I drew shift a brother and a parent! (Named Boots and Non respectively)
Non started as a story problem I needed to solve, which I'll elaborate on in the fictional history portion. Effectively, I needed to answer why Willow and Boots are eldritch, siblings, and here in the first place.
The name "Non" is pronounced like the "non" in words like "non-issue" and "non-existent".
Non is an eldritch embodiment of shadows who saw the worst of the worst and decided to make something good because of it. In fact, it decided to make two good things at the same time, leading Willow and Boots to not have one that's older and one that's younger between them!
At some point, Willow met another semi-eldritch critter, this one being mostly skeletal. They became fast friends, partially thanks to Mono having the opposable thumbs necessary to cook and bake! Willow often stops by Mono's house just to grab a treat or two. Mono themself has no need to eat, as well as no mouth to. They find the process of making food enjoyable, second only to the positive reactions of those who get to eat it.
The reason there's so much about other characters is because I don't have what I need for the mentioned characters ready yet so I can't give them their own pages
